Terms and Conditions

Daily hire charges

The daily hire charges include unlimited kilometres, insurance and GST (12.5%).
All charges are calculated per calender day for motorhomes. Vehicles are available at 8.30 am on the day you commence your hire and must be returned by 5 pm at the termination of the hire, unless prior arrangements are made.

Hire Periods and Relocate Fees

For all rentals there is a minimum period of 7 days. Some hires may be subject to a relocation fee but all fees will be included in the quoted total price.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to pick up date will be refunded 50% of the deposit paid.
Cancellations made less that 15 days prior to pick up date will recieve no refund of deposit paid.

Refunds

Regretfully no refunds can be given for any unused portion of your holiday.

Vehicle Substitution & Design

We shall make every effort to provide the vehicle you requested but where a vehicle is unavailable for any reason we reserve the right to provide a comparable vehicle. Whilst including the same facilities, vehicle layouts may vary slightly to those shown due to manufacturer design changes.

Drivers Licence

A current valid International, New Zealand or drivers licence from your country of origin is required. Drivers must be over 21 years of age. No special licence is required for our motorhomes.

Insurance

Standard Insurance is included in the daily rates with an excess of $3000 on all vehicles. Broken windscreens and damaged tyres and punctures are hirers’ responsibility. If a tyre requires replacing, a preferred brand is only to be fitted. Advice from our office +64 21 544859 can be obtained if you are uncertain. Note: insurance does not cover hirers’ personal property.

Insurance Waiver Options

The following options can be used to reduce your NZ$3000.00 insurance excess:

An additional NZ$20 per day rental hire per vehicle reduces your excess to $1500
An additional NZ$30 per day rental hire per vehicle reduces your excess to $250

Optional windscreen and Glass cover is an extra NZ$50 per hire per vehicle.

Bond

A bond of $3000 for all Vehicles is required for drivers over 21. The bond is taken by way of credit card imprint and is destroyed after the vehicle has been returned in clean, undamaged condition with fuel tank and water tank filled, the toilet and waste tank emptied.

This bond will be used if any damage or claim occurs and/or money deducted to cover expense due to: -

Camper returned in "Dirty" or "unreasonable" condition.
Toilet Cassette not emptied.
Fuel tank not filled.
Camper returned beyond the agreed time

Deposit

A deposit of 20% (or minimum $500.00) of total hire is payable to secure a booking.

Depots

Depots are currently located in Christchurch, Auckland, Picton and Nelson.

Fuel Tank

All vehicles must be returned full or costs will be deducted from the bond.

Traffic Fines

Any traffic infringements are the responsibility of the hirer and will be deducted from the bond or credit card, at cost plus NZD$20.00 fee to cover credit card costs and administration fees.
